01Scope
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of any service published on 2stepdesigns.com, by any professional or private buyer ("you"), from 2stepdesigns, 80 Rue Victor Hugo, 94700 Maisons-Alfort, France (SIREN 918 472 305, VAT FR 07 918472305) ("we," "us").
02Services
The services offered — website design & build, landing-page sprints, UX/UI design, e-commerce store builds, SEO & local visibility, performance audits, and website care plans — are described, with their inclusions, exclusions, price and turnaround, on each service's page and on /pricing/. Scope outside a published package is agreed separately via a discovery call (“Start a project”) before any work begins.
03Prices
All prices are shown in euros, excluding VAT (HT). French VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%) is added at checkout. Where a valid VAT number from another EU member state is provided, the intra-EU reverse-charge mechanism applies and VAT is not charged by us. Published prices are valid at the time of order; we do not retroactively change a price once your order is confirmed.
04Ordering process
You add a package to your cart, review it, and complete the checkout steps (contact, billing details, project details, payment, review). An order is confirmed once you accept these Terms and the Refund & Cancellation Policy at the review step and complete payment. You receive an order reference and an itemised confirmation.
05Payment
Payment is due at the time of order, by the method offered at checkout (card or bank transfer, subject to availability). For monthly services (Care Plans, SEO Momentum/Growth), the first month is charged at order and subsequent months are billed on the same date each month until cancelled.
06Delivery of services
Nothing is physically shipped. Work begins according to the 5-stage process described at /process/ (Discovery, Design, Build, Launch, and, where applicable, Care), starting from the confirmed project start date agreed during Discovery. Turnaround times stated on each package are estimates confirmed precisely once scope is fixed at Discovery.
07Right of withdrawal
If you are a private consumer (acting outside any trade or profession), French Consumer Code Article L221-18 gives you 14 days from your order to withdraw without justification. Because our services are performed digitally and you may need work to begin before that period ends, we ask consumer buyers at checkout to expressly request that performance begin immediately and to acknowledge that, once a service has been fully performed with your agreement before the 14-day period ends, your right of withdrawal is lost for that service, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code. If you are a professional buyer (acting in the name of or for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, except where you meet the “non-professional” criteria of Article L221-3 (fewer than 5 employees, and the purchase falls outside your main field of activity), in which case the same terms as for consumers apply.
08Cancellation and refunds
Full terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Sale.
09Your obligations
You agree to provide, in a timely manner, the content, brand assets, access and feedback needed at each process stage, as set out at /process/ §7 (“What we need from you”). Delays in providing these shift the project timeline by the same amount.
10Ownership and intellectual property
On full payment, you own the code and content produced specifically for your project, excluding our general tools, templates, and any third-party licensed assets (fonts, stock imagery, plugins), which remain subject to their own licences. We may reference completed work (with your agreement) as a portfolio piece.
11Liability
Our liability for a service is limited to the price paid for that service, except in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or where French law does not permit such a limitation (e.g. death or personal injury). We are not liable for third-party services you choose to use alongside ours (hosting providers, payment processors, plugins).
12Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
13Personal data
Handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
14Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@2stepdesigns.com. Failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to your situation.
